Qmee Review

Qmee Review

Platform Name: Qmee

Website: qmee.com

Headquarters: London and New York

Industry: GPT site

Founder: Jonathan Knight and Nick Sutton

Founded: 2012

Cost: FREE

Summary: Qmee is a platform that pays you money participating in surveys, shopping and searching the internet. It has an instant rewarding feature and offers no minimum threshold of withdrawal but are limited to countries like the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. It makes a nice extra income gig but not something you can quit your job over.

My Overall Rating: 5.5 out of 10

Remarks: Good for anyone who wants to make extra income with his or her spare time

number one recommendation

What is Qmee About?

According to whois.com, Qmee was registered on November 2005 but on their website, it was founded in 2012 by two experienced businessmen named Jonathan Knight and Nick Sutton

Qmee is not outspoken but it’s one of the reportedly good websites with some features that are rarely found in most paid survey platforms. It offers users the opportunity to make extra money taking surveys, gives shopping coupons to registered members and effortlessly, reward you cash as you search on browsers.

Qmee app is user-friendly on mobile phones and also works as an extension on desktops in your browsers where you can make money as and when offers are available. Currently, it’s not open to all countries but it works pretty simple as explained in the video.

How Do You Make Money With Qmee?

Qmee doesn’t have several earning options like GetPaidTo but it does provide some interesting ways to make money.

Taking Surveys

After you’ve created your account, you’ll see them on your survey dashboard. However, you don’t get a pool of surveys but they show up as and when they’re available.

The estimated time, as well as the amount you earn for the survey, shows on its thumbnail as you can see in the examples below.

Qmee surveys to earn side income

On the survey thumbnail, you’ll see some icons which you have to take note of. It shows categories;

Hot: means they’re hottest surveys on the platform and they don’t stick around for long so you might want to grab it quickly when you come across one.

Recontact: usually, follow-up surveys on those that you previously participated and completed successfully.

Webcam: are surveys that require you to use your web camera so you might want to avoid clicking if you’re not comfortable on camera.

These surveys typically make you cents, so you may find Respondent worthwhile if you’re a fan of surveys.

Offers

Lined up on your dashboard in this category are products and services which are provided by third-party websites. Qmee partners with these brands to give you an opportunity to earn cash getting a service you’re already going to use.

The money you earn varies and it depends on the type of product or service. The offers look like what’s shown below.

Qmee offers to search

Earning from this option makes sense only when you actually need that offer.

Online Search

This option is probably what’s making Qmee popular on the internet. Qmee pays you for clicking on their search results rather than that of Google, Yahoo, Bing, Amazon and eBay. That’s the easiest way to make money with Qmee but they’re usually cents.

However, these searches would have to be your usual way of doing your searches with the search engines. Any attempts to play the system will be detected and you may not earn any dime.

An example is shown below;

Qmee online search that earns you cents

Since Google doesn’t pay you when you click on any search results of theirs, clicking on that shown by Qmee is a good deal. As you can see, the app is very simple and not intrusive when you have the extension in your browser.

Referral Program

Unlike GetPaidTo, Respondent, Rewards1 and PrizeRebel which make referral links easily accessible to share with friends, Qmee is different. Your referral link is made inactive until they detect that you’re actually using the platform.

You can as well ask support to also activate for you. Another distinguishing feature is that you’re giving three different referral link to share with your friends;

Link #1 – You keep 100% of the reward

Link #2 – You share the reward equally with your friend (50-50%)

Link #3 – You give 100% of the reward to your friend

Their referral program is such that you earn $1 only when the person makes first withdrawal through PayPal irrespective of the amount and it’s one-time. Respondent too is one-time but you earn $20 which is fairly good money.

But with GetPaidTo, Rewards1, PointsPrizes, PaidViewpoint and PrizeRebel, you can earn referral bonuses as long as the person stays active on the platform.

How Much Money Can You Earn With Qmee?

Well, the amount you can earn on Qmee will be difficult to estimate exactly since several factors go into it. You can make as much as the number of available surveys you qualify, the number of searches you often do online and friends you invite to join.

According to Qmee, they say can even earn thousands just inviting friends…

Qmee earning potential claims

This could be misleading and at the same time over-exaggeration. While you could in a lifetime inviting friends using my #1 recommendation method, the thousands wouldn’t be something you can earn every month.

On the flip side, it’s possible to make between $5 – $15 or more every month if you dedicate an hour every day. However, with your idle computer, GetPaidTo can make you around $20 every month if you have unused bandwidth.

How Does Qmee Pay You?

There are three main payment methods which are offered by Qmee;

  • PayPal
  • Charity
  • Gift Cards

Among the three, gift cards are not always available. For your first withdrawal, you’ll either cashout out your money through PayPal or donate to charity. Any of the two are processed within a short time.

Since there’s no minimum withdrawal amount, you can get paid anytime you want.

How Do You Join Qmee?

Just head to qmee.com and sign up with your personal information. The website automatically detects your location so you wouldn’t want to play the system if you’re not from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Respondent and GetPaidTo will be your best bet if you’re not from those countries.

Qmee Pros Vs Cons

Pros

  • Free To Join – All that you need is your personal information and any time to trade for money just doing menial tasks or things you usually do.
  • No Minimum Payout – You don’t have to accumulate points as found in TimeBucks, PointsPrizes, GrabPoints, FeaturePoints before you can redeem into cash. Whatever amount you make in a day can be withdrawn on that day which is good.
  • Quick Payout – Not only do Qmee offer no minimum threshold of withdrawal but your cashout hits your account in minutes.
  • Awesome Ways To Make Money – With the online search feature, you’re sure to earn something every day so far as you search the internet which is very easy for anyone to do.

Cons

  • Not Available In All Countries – Qmee is open to people in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia which makes an opportunity for selected few. If you’re not from these countries, then your best options are GetPaidTo and Respondent
  • Limited Payout Options – I like the fact that they have a PayPal option but not everyone uses it so you either create an account or give away your money if their gift card option is not activated for you.
  • Unreliable Estimated Survey Duration – If you’re a fan of surveys, then you should note that you’re likely to spend twice or even more than the estimated time that comes with the surveys. Their duration is a bit off.
  • Very Low-Income Potential – If you’re thinking of quitting your job over Qmee, then you’re going to make a big mistake. The earnings are low but a fair side income. If you want to make hundreds then you need to learn from this recommendation to do so.
  • One-Time Referral Bonus – Unlike GetPaidTo, PointsPrizes, Rewards1 and PrizeRebel which provides unlimited referral bonus as long as those referred earns on the platform, Qmee rewards ($1) you only once when your referral cashout.

Respondent and Fluidstack also offer such referral bonuses but theirs are $20 and $5 respectively which are far higher than that of Qmee.

Is Qmee A Scam?

Qmee is not a scam. It’s a legit platform to trade your spare time for some extra cash but you can’t expect to get rich with their offers. They’re also delivering on their claims of instant cash and no minimum cashout which is probably what is making them popular on the internet.

Most importantly, most users appear to be happy with their platform and are paying. Out of 693 user reviews, 76% rated excellent and 8% as bad which gives it overall positive feedback as a good platform to join.

Qmee Tips To Maximize Earnings

Here are some tips you can apply to keep your earnings at a steady rate;

  1. Keep Your Streaks Up

Having a steady increase of streaks give you the additional benefit of earning 10% more from surveys you participate in. You can keep your streaks up by answering their daily polls or completing a survey.

  1. Get The Qmee Extension

Having the extension in your desktop browser helps you earn cents from the searches you naturally do online. Not only that, but it can also serve you with notifications whenever a survey is available.

  1. Don’t Play The System

If you’re thinking of finding your way around the online search, don’t because it may end you losing that option of earning money.

  1. Get Your Profile Above 90%

Completing your profile to at least 90% increases your chances of receiving more targeted surveys and other offers with good rates.

My Humble Advice

Qmee is a legitimate platform which can make you some extra cash but you can’t quit your job over it. To make good money every month, you must be a fan of surveys. In that case, adding Respondent and GetPaidTo can make you over $100’s a month since you can even earn with your idle computer on GetPaidTo

If you’re not a fan of surveys, then having systems which can help you leverage the effort of others while doing less of participating in the surveys is your only sure way to make $100’s in a month. One approach I use myself is this platform that I recommend.

Qmee Best Business Alternative

If you’re really determined to make money online to even replace your job at the comfort of your home, then I can guide you through an online program which has been of immense help to me.

I found this program when I was struggling to support myself financially and it’s helping me make passive income working part-time while I do my graduate studies.

Several people are finding success with it doing what they’re passionate about with the program and I believe they’re not better than you. The best part is, you can give it a try without committing any financial information of yours.

  1. Thanks for sharing this article.

Lovely platform for earning big founded in the year 2012,  so it’s  not a new platform but  although I started early last year.   Lovely thing is that you dont have to quit your job for any reason, causing you  to earn from different angle and from your spare time. No minimum withdrawal, just your online survey and  referrals e.t.c. But  though you have to give it your time  as  surveys  with will be out  for a specific time.

But the question is how much time do one  have to give in to earn bountiful?

    • You’re welcome, Evagreene. The thing is earning bountifully is far from this platform. You would want to try out something else.

  2. Reading through your post, I think qmee is a good platform. I have always been skeptical about survey platforms especially because I didn’t know if they paid or not. I’m very happy you can give some awesome information here about this. The search options to making cash is also a feature that I admire a lot. I would give that a try as well. Thank you for sharing this article in your website.
